Keely Agan - Director (9 Worst Breakups …)

Keely Agan (s/h) works as the Ending Childhood Hunger Campaign Lead at the anti-hunger nonprofit Hunger Free Vermont. Keely has been singing, dancing, and acting her whole life, and considers her hobby of community theatre her second full-time job. Keely grew up in Milton and attended the University of Vermont where she studied nutrition and minored in music and dance. Keely has been in the director/assistant director role several times, but she is thrilled to be making her directorial debut with Vermont Repertory Theatre! Keely currently resides in Milton with her her adorable cat, Ralphie

Merrill Cameron- Rootie (Graceland)

Merrill Cameron is an actor, singer, and dancer who has been performing locally since 2014. She previously appeared in Hawkes and Handsaws with Vermont Rep. Favorite recent credits include Miss Honey in Matilda (Lyric Theatre Company) and La Môme Pistache in Can-Can (Woodstock Playhouse, Woodstock, NY). Merrill is also the manager at Lines VT Dance Studio + Store. Thank you to Kelly and Kimberly for being so delightful to work with, and to all who came out to see the show!

Peter Carlile - Company (9 Worst Breakups …)

Peter is thrilled to be returning for his third appearance with Vermont Rep. Previously appearing as King Arthur in Spamalot and the Guard in the Comedy of Errors, Peter has also performed with Lyric Theater as Chef Louis (The Little Mermaid) and the Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz) among others. He would like to thank his friends and family for all their support as he dives headfirst into yet another project. Enjoy the show!

Ian Ferris - Morris (Monkey’s Paw)

Ian has been an active presence in the Greater Burlington theater community since 2012, beginning with his portrayal of Roger in RENT with Lyric Theatre Company. He has since performed a number of notable roles, including Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia!, and most recently Adolfo Pirelli in Vermont Rep’s production of Sweeney Todd. In addition to his work as a performer, Mr. Ferris is also an experienced director and his next directorial project will be, Elf: The Musical, presented by Lyric Theatre at the Flynn Theatre in November 2026.

Kylie Halpin - Company (9 Worst Breakups …)

Kylie is so excited to perform in Vermont Rep's first ever presentation of the Williston One Acts! In addition to being a founding member of Vermont Repertory Theatre, Kylie is active in the greater Vermont theater community in roles both on and off stage. Some favorite roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lucy in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, and Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street. She recently was part of the ensemble for Vermont Rep's Sweeney Todd, which was a phenomenal (and bloody!) experience. In this show, Kylie is looking forward to sharing the stage for the first time with her fiancé, Benjamin. 

Safiya Jamali - Company (9 Worst Breakups…)

Safiya is a Bahraini-American actor and theatre maker based out of Burlington, Vermont who has trained and performed across continents in Bahrain, Cyprus and London. Safiya studied musical theatre at ArtsEd (Arts Educational Schools) London and graduated in 2022. Since landing in Vermont, she has appeared on stage and screen in a variety of projects including Love, Well Actually… (Stealing From Work), OvaXX (film), Triangle (Vermont Stage), Returning to Haifa (Unadilla Theater), The Prom (Lyric Theatre Company), and many more!

Connor Kendall - Teddy White (Monkey’s Paw)

Connor Kendall is an actor, director, and a co-founder of Vermont Rep living in Hinesburg, VT. He received his BFA in Acting from Coastal Carolina University in 2015. Recent credits include Cleante in The Miser (Vermont Rep), Michael in tick, tick...Boom! (Vermont Stage), and The Baker in Into the Woods (Lyric Theatre). Thank you for coming and enjoy the show!

Kelly Kendall - Director (Graceland) and Jennifer White (Monkey’s Paw)

Kelly has been a performer, director and teacher in Vermont for over thirty years and is delighted to be directing Graceland for VT Rep’s inaugural One Act festival. With VT Rep, she has appeared in “Comedy of Errors” as Abbess Emelia and in “Hawkes and Handsaws” as the narrator. Recent credits on other stages include Carole Vasta Folley’s “Control Top” and “Borrowing Time” with GNOP. Directing credits with Lyric Theatre Company at the Flynn include The Sound of Music, Cinderella, Les Misérables and A Christmas Story. Grateful thanks to Chloe, Mike, Hadley, Emery, Chris and Keely for making it happen; to KR and MC for making magic and to SK, always.

Stephen Kendall - John White (Monkey’s Paw)

Steve has been active in the local performing arts community on and off stage for thirty plus years. He is a founding member of Vermont Repertory Theatre and has served as the President of the board of directors since its inception. Steve has also served on the board of directors of Lyric Theatre Company for twenty-three years where he has held the positions of President and Treasurer multiple times. He has been the Production Supervisor of Vermont Repertory Theatre’s The Tempest, and Lyric Theatre Company’s Les Misérables, A Christmas Story, Cinderella, King and I, and Sound of Music. Favorite on-stage roles include Wilbur Turnblad in Lyric’s Hairspray, Dave Bukatinsky in The Full Monty with Lyric and Stowe Theatre Guild, and Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Lyric’s Guys and Dolls. Steve is an Executive Vice President with Union Bank and has 35 plus years of community banking and finance experience in Vermont.

Carah Pioli-Hunt - Company ( 9 Worst Breakups …)

Carah is delighted to make her debut with Vermont Repertory Theatre! While this is her first production with the company, she is no stranger to the stage. You can often find her dancing with Cat Call Dance Company or performing with local theatre groups such as Lyric and Williston Community Theatre—where she had the joy of playing her dream role, Audrey, in Little Shop of Horrors back in 2023. Outside of performing, Carah wears two other hats she loves dearly: being “Mom” to her almost three-year-old son, Louie, and serving as a reading intervention teacher for kindergarten through second graders. Carah sends a special thanks to Director, Keely Agan, for this fun opportunity and to her fellow castmates/good pals for all of the laughs!

Kimberly Rockwood - Bev (Graceland)

Kimberly has been cast in, and directed numerous community theatre productions throughout VT. She helped establish the VT Playwright’s Award with The Valley Players. She is pleased to make her debut with Vermont Repertory. She lives and gardens at her ancient So Burlington home with the ever entertaining Mr. Bill.

Stefanie Seng- Company ( 9 Worst Breakups …)

Stefanie Seng (Eve) holds a BFA in Theatre (Central Connecticut State University) and spent three years acting full-time in Los Angeles before returning to the East Coast to pursue a degree in school counseling. Recent stage credits include Rosalind in As You Like It (Valley Players), Beth in Wake Up, Gloucester (Valley Players), Sarah in Translations (Vermont Stage), and Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (Vermont Stage). In addition to working as a school counselor, Stefanie teaches a theatre intensive class at Spotlight in South Burlington.

George Sullivan- Sampson (The Monkey’s Paw)

George is delighted to be joining Vermont Rep again with his second performance on stage with them following this year's The Miser. Other favorite past roles of his include Elephant Gerald in Elephant and Piggy: We are in a Play and Caveman Ancestor in Addams Family, both with Lyric Theatre, and Jesus in Godspell with Stowe Theatre Guild. When not on stage, George enjoys cooking for his friends, reading, playing disc golf, and crisp autumn days. George would like to thank his family and friends whose support means everything, as well as Vermont Repertory for welcoming me back into another great performance.

Benjamin Villa - Company ( 9 Worst Breakups …)

Benjamin Villa is a proud VT native and a graduate from Castleton State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting and Directing. His past performances include Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Pillowman, Tartuffe, Urinetown, The Bald Soprano, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, The Addams Family, The Comedy of Errors, Spamalot, and The Bold The Young and The Murdered. Ben is very excited to be working with this immensely talented cast. He would also like to thank his friends and family for coming to his shows and supporting the arts.

Christopher Ziter - Director (The Monkey’s Paw)

Chris returned to his native Vermont in 2010, after years spent as a musician and actor in Chicago, NYC, and Cincinnati. As a performer, he played in the original production of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995 and went on to direct Burlington's infamous production at Pearl’s. He is very honored to have been involved in every Vermont Rep show to date - from the inaugural production of Comedy of Errors to the most recent production of The Miser - and now, as a director for the Williston One-Acts.

Production

Emery Boisvert - Lighting Designer

Emery is a student at UVM, having moved from Oregon in 2023. Since coming to Vermont, he’s grown as a lighting designer and technician in the area, most recently designing Sweeney Todd and The Miser (VT Repertory Theatre) and helping any/everyone who needs lighting support. He’d like to thank the directors for their exciting (and vast) variety of shows, and everyone who’s encouraged him and given him the opportunities to learn and thrive!

Chloë Fidler - Producer

Chloë has a BA (Hons) in Theatre Studies and Dramatic Arts from The University of Warwick (UK) and trained at the London School of Musical Theatre.  She worked as a London-based professional performer for 15 years before moving to the US with her family in 2014.  She has appeared in many local productions, most recently as Lyn in BabyCakes (Full Circle) Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Alonsa in The Tempest (Vermont Rep), Helen Sutherland in The Pitman Painters and Mary in Women in Jeopardy! (Vermont Stage). Producing credits for Vermont Repertory Theatre include: The Comedy of Errors 2023, Spamalot 2024 and The Miser 2025, all at Isham Barn Theatre in Williston. Chloë currently sings with the South Burlington Community Chorus and is the Treasurer on the Vermont Repertory Theatre Board.

Michael Fidler - Venue Designer (The Rep)

Mike graduated with a BA(Hons) from the University of Kent in Canterbury with a specialization in Directing. He went on to do an MA in Stage Design at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, after which he enjoyed a 30 year career as a Designer, Director and Production Manager in London’s theatre and event industries. Some highlights have included being Technical Director for Prince (now King) Charles’ 50th birthday party at Buckingham Palace, directing and co-writing Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens in the West End, and getting Elton John on stage at a very expensive Christmas party! He moved to Vermont with his family in 2014 and has enjoyed participating with local theatre companies such as Girls Nite Out Productions, Vermont Stage and Lyric Theatre, for whom he directed Mamma Mia and Miracle on Green Tree Drive. He is a founding member and Artistic Director of Vermont Repertory Theatre, having directed The Comedy of Errors, Hawkes and Handsaws, Spamalot, Sweeney Todd, and The Miser, and will be in the same chair in the winter with Uncle Vanya at Main Street Landing in Burlington.

Hadley Platt - Stage Manager / Costumes / Props

Hadley is a student at UVM from Park City, Utah, and this is her second time working with Vermont Repertory Theatre. Since coming to Vermont, she’s been getting involved in theater in all the ways she can, from set construction to costuming to front of house! She’d like to thank everyone at VT Rep for creating such a welcoming space, and her friends and family for their support. 

Freda Tutt - Production Manager

Freda is a lifelong theater brat.  Her parents founded a community theater when she was a baby.  Growing up, she was often at the theater with her parents, watching and learning.  When she moved to Vermont she joined Lyric Theatre, appearing in their 1998 production of The Wizard of Oz.  She continued to volunteer with Lyric both onstage and offstage.  After being on the Vermont Repertory Theatre Stage Management team for the past 3 show, she is delighted  to switch gears and join the team as the season Production Manager.   In her spare time, Freda works at NFP as a Financial Planning Client Service Manager and coordinates the Host Family program for the Vermont Lake Monsters.  She would like to thank her husband, Michael, for putting up with her crazy theater life.  Freda would also like to thank Momma, Daddy and June for starting her on this crazy 64 year journey.
