Season 3
2025-2026
Welcome to our most ambitious season yet. We are proud to present Uncle Vanya (February 28 - March 7, 2026 at Main Street Landing, Burlington) , Shakespeare In Love (June 11 - 20, 2026 at Isham Barn, Williston), and the all new Williston One Acts (October 15-18, at The Rep, Williston).
October 15-18, 2025
This year we inaugurated our new Black Box space at The Rep with a festival of one act plays that ranged from the comic to the dramatic to the deeply haunted.
We celebrated this banner moment with sold out crowds that shared in the laughter, the tears, and even some moments of horror.

Uncle Vanya
February 28 - March 7, 2026, at the Black Box Theatre at Main Street Landing, Burlington
Chekhov’s aching masterpiece of unrequited love, failed ambition and drunk Russians in a brave and modern adaptation by David Mamet.
In a forgotten corner of the Russian countryside, time drips like cheap vodka and nothing quenches the thirst for meaning. Uncle Vanya isn’t a tragedy, it’s a comedy with its teeth bared, the kind where people tell jokes just before their souls collapse. Mamet’s adaptation is dark, funny, brutally honest and stained with wine and longing.
Shakespeare In Love
The Isham Barn becomes the Globe this summer with the lush, romantic stage adaptation of the beloved multi Academy Award winning film, as Vermont Rep once again brings history to life with dazzling period costumes and settings.
The play is a joyful ode to comedic story-telling in Shakespeare’s unique style, complete with mistaken identities, gender-swapping, backstage drama, timeless romance, singing, dancing, and of course, a bit with a dog.
June 11 - 20, 2026 at The Isham Barn Theatre, Williston
